Gorgeous, healthy schnoodle puppies, Born April 18, looking for a family to call their own. Four males, they range in color from phantom with white markings to black with white markings. Sire is 5 pound cream toy poodle, dam (owned by me) is a 16 pound black mini-schnauzer. Includes dewormings, docked tails and dewclaws removed, 1st Vaccinations, 1 yr health guarantee, plus many extras. The pups have been raised indoors in a family environment with children, others dogs, and cats.
I crossed these two breeds based on research which indicates that health and temperment problems can be reduced when the breeds are mixed. They also remain hypoallergenic. I've always believed that cross-bred dogs make the best pets, and seem to be more healthy than many purebred dogs... due to many years of watering down of the lines and inbreeding.

The schnoodle mixes the intellect of the poodle with the companionship and devotion of the schnauzer. Schnoodles are very astute. They may, for example, react very strongly when the owner simply glances to the floor for his or her shoes, or the sound of the clanking of car keys; the dog knows that this can be a precursor to the owner leaving the home on some errand. This intelligence (which can range from introspective and analytical, to raw and instinctual depending on the specific dog), coupled with the terrier desire to please the owner, makes most schnoodles easily trainable.
The vocabulary of a schnoodle is quite impressive, considering they are able to pick up phrases, such as "go get your toy" with ease. Some schnoodles pick up the schnauzer-like habit of nipping at things, but frequently are not attracted to chewing up furniture. While mischievous, schnoodles are fun-loving, energetic dogs.
